There is a simple experiment can prove that black is a better collector of solar energy than white. Before the experiment, you need to prepare two tin cans, black and white paint as well as a room thermometer. First, paint the cans-one black, one white. Second, fill the cans with water. After that, put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours. Finally, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare. Then you can reach a conclusion that the temperature of the water in the black can is higher.
