     The Internet plays an important role in our daily life, and there are more and more people meeting people through online dating sites. However, I am on the same page as those who oppose the online meeting. While it is true that meeting people through online dating sites can make people connect more kinds of people from all over the world, I believe it is insecure if the person you meet on the Internet doesn’t tell the truth about himself or herself. You will get into trouble with this affair. Moreover, the Internet has the characteristic of secret. The person’s purpose of making friends through the Internet reminds unknown. Maybe he or she just wants to obtain money from you by deception. Last but not least, if you give him or her your personal information, it may affect your real life seriously. You may be disturbed if he or she continually pesters you. In sum, be careful while you really want to meet people through the Internet, and do not consent to him or her asking you out easily.

     Should students be dressed in the bound uniforms? Despite the fact that wearing uniforms is uncomfortable and air tight, I think that it’s necessary for the students to wear uniforms to attend school because by wearing uniforms can a crowded school identify their students conveniently. Furthermore, wearing uniforms can improve the security of campus for the drillmasters or teachers will keep their eyes peeled when they see the students who wear the school’s uniforms. Finally, wearing uniforms will make the students more consolidated and have more centripetal force. When the students behave well off campus, the uniforms will represent the honor of the school. Consequently, I strongly believe that the students should put on uniforms.

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson have many similarities. For example, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson played an important role in American Revolution. Additionally, John Adams delegated to the Continental Congress and so did Thomas Jefferson. They were also the signers of Declaration of Independence. Besides, John Adams was the second U.S. president. Likewise, Thomas Jefferson was the third president of United States. Finally, John Adams studied and practiced laws as Thomas Jefferson. They were quite significant to United States and had great influence on their society.

There are two identical ladies hoodies sold in the two different clothing stores. The two ladies hoodies are both washable, and the size of Lourie’s is similar to that of Green’s. In addition, both Laurie’s and Green’s are made of cotton blend. Moreover, the various colors of ladies hoodies are alike. Last, the ladies hoodies in Lourie’s are at the same price as that in Green’s. Hence, if you want to buy ladies hoodies, you can choose either store you like.

I am hiring a new English instructor for my school, and I received two resumes from people applying for the job. Contrasting two people, Debra has more education than Lynn. Besides, Debra is more experienced than Lynn in employment. But Lynn is excellence in Teaching Award 2004 while Debra isn’t awarded any prize. Additionally, Lynn is proficient in Spanish, French and Japanese, whereas Debra is only master of French and swimming. After comparing the two people, I decide to hire Lynn, for her outstanding language ability.

My friend and I are looking for an apartment to share near campus. I saw some descriptions of departments on the Internet, and they were different in many ways. There are two apartments that I’m considering, one is Fairfax Apartments and the other is CAMPUS APTS. Comparing the two apartments, Fairfax apartments has two large bedrooms; however, CAMPUS APTS. just has one bedroom. Additionally, Fairfax apartments is furnished and no pets while CAMPUS APTS. is unfurnished and pets allowed. Furthermore, Fairfax apartments is only 1250 dollars a month, included all utilities. But CAMPUS APTS is 900 dollars a month plus utilities. Each has specialized skills, and I am vexed about choosing which one.

Comparing to the two movies I had seen, there are several similarities between them.  One is Hanna and the other is The Lovely Bones. Both of them star by the same heroine called Saoirse Ronan. Moreover, Hanna as well as The Lovely Bones is adapted from original novels. Last, the plot of Hanna is exciting and adventurous. Likewise, the circumstances of The Lovely Bones are thrilling and breathtaking. These two movies are so fascinating that they are really worth watching.

     Why does English become more and more important in Taiwan nowadays? Below are several reasons. First of all, English is the most commonly used language. It can eliminate the language barriers between two people from the different countries. For instance, if you meet a Korean, who doesn’t know Chinese but speaks English, you can understand and communicate with each other in English. Furthermore, good English ability can also help you find a job easily. In recent years, Taiwan is an island nation surrounded by ocean. And trading with the foreigners has become the main economic source in Taiwan. As a result, many corporations would regard the English ability as essentials. Consequently, the better English ability you have, the more chance you will be recruited. Last but not least, with good English ability you can travel around the world without apprehensions. You won’t be in dread of the unknown conditions such as getting lost and not knowing how to reserve a room in an unfamiliar country. It’s because you can use English to seek someone’s help. And then you can have a wonderful vacation. In sum, promote your own English ability so that you will have superior competitiveness in modern society.
